I read this book, 'Dead Man's Island'. This is the first book that is level 2. I thought it is difficult for me. But, I could read it without problems. This is little sad story. A young girl, Carol Sandres lived in Hong Kong. One day, she lost his father by aeroplane accident. To forget that acciden, she and her mother moved Mr. Ross' private island. He is mysterious man. And the people who live in this island are mysterious too. Carol thought it is strange. And she found thier secret at last. Mr. Ross was famous pop singer. He got a problem. So, he get away from people. He must kill himself, being famous. And he must live in getting away from people. It was sad story.
