I read 'The Monkey's Paw' today. This story is fantasy & horror story. An old soldier, Tom Morris came to see old friend, Mr. White. Tom told some interesting stories to the White family. And, he started to talk about 'the monkey's paw' story. The monkey's paw can make three wishes. But, he was very afraid of the monkey's paw. The monkey's always bring unhappiness. But Mr. White didn't believe that. He took it from Tom. Mr. White tried to make his wish. His wish was money. His wish was made. But, finally he died. It is bad to lose yourself because of your desire.

At last, all money goes lawyers. Finally, the winner of this story is lawyers.

That’s my community

Introduction

I think everyone must have own community. People must be belonged to any community. I think people can’t be without belonging community. Like this. If you work, you belong to work place community. People’s life consists of community. Community contains friends, senior, junior and so on. Of course, I am belonging to some communities. I want to introduce my communities.

Department of English

Now I am going to Kumamoto Gakuen University. I am student of Department of English. That is one of my communities. I’m studying English there. When I decided to enter the university, I was very excited. But same time, I was so scared. That is because, my home is in Kagoshima. Kumamoto is a strange place for me. It is too difficult to enter the strange place or strange community. To enter the strange place alone was scared me. But people who live in Kumamoto are kind. And school mates are very good and kind. I like them. Now there is comfortable for me. We are cheering up each other to rise own skills. Sometimes (many times), we go to enjoy some entertainment to refresh. It is good for us. We can share hard things and joyful. Because we are studying same kind of subject at same place. School life is always like that. And that is one of good point of community life.

Mikasa Club

I want to introduce ‘Mikasa Club’. This is the most favorite community for me. This is a club of basketball in my hometown, home area. Two of my friends and me designed to establish it when we were first grade of high school. And we carried out this plan when we were second grade of high school. In the beginning, the members were same age old boys of basketball team of my junior high school. Members were very few. There was a day that gathered members were there or four. But now, many people come to play. Now, my team mates of basketball team of high school are coming. My juniors’ team mates of basketball team of high school are coming. My seniors are coming. Anyway, many people come to play now. About twenty members are coming constantly now. It is so fun. All players like basketball. Sometimes, some players are strange. But, we could good friend by playing basketball together. All players are enjoying playing basketball. I am very pleasure because we can supply the community that can play basketball with fun. I am very proud of me and my friends because we could carry out such as big project. Now this club is unofficial. But we are planning to let this team enter the basketball league in Kagoshima someday in the future.

Work place

I think work place is very important community. I worked at ‘A-Coop’ during summer vacation and spring vacation. I learned many important things of society there. It is like etiquettes, common sense and so on. It is very important things to get into society. So I think work place is very important. Now I got a new job. I want to learn several things at new work place.

Conclusion

Community is very important part in human life. People should treasure concerning of community. People can’t live without concerning any communities. To belong to community is to live a life. I want to treasure my communities.

I read this book, ‘Five Children And It’. The main characters are five children and ‘IT’, a Psammead, a sand-fairy, thousands of years old. ‘IT’ is very strange shape – fat and furry, and with eyes on long stalks. But, ‘IT’can gives wishes, one wish a day. Children try to ask difficult wishes. ‘IT’ is very tired. At last, children recognized it and stop asking. It was ‘IT’s wish. I like this story. It's fall of reading!! I read this book, 'Never Too Late'. The writer of this book is Yuta Tabuse. He is first Japanese NBA player. He is famous in Japan. I think you know who he is. He write about his experiences of his college life. He was studing abroad to Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYUH) after he graduate from Noshiro Technical Highschool in Akita. Basketball club of Noshiro is the best team in Japan. Noshiro lost just 1 time at offical game during he was in this school. Noshiro won the National Convention 9 times in a low during he was in this school. That is very great. He is elite of basketball. He studied abroad to Hawaii to raise his basketball skills. But he faced the wall of languages. He write about that in this book. You can read about his interesting stories that he experienced during studying abroad in this book. I watched NBA game on TV today. The game was Los Angeles Lakers(LAL) vs. San Antonio Spurs(SAS). Lakers is my favorite team. One of my favorite player, Kobe Bryant belongs Lakers. His play is very excellent. I think he is one of best player in NBA. But he is not best player in this game. Spurs won this game. Spurs players played very good. What a relief!

After we enjoyed bowling, we played arcade racing game. When I was playing it, I put my wallet in front of game screen. And I forgot to bring it out when I go home. I noticed that when I dropped in convenience store near my apartment room. That upset me. And I got back to Shinyashiki Bowl soon. On the way to there, I called there desk. The worker said 'there is a wallet someone forgot'. I was very relieved, when I heard that. What a relief!!

Today, I went to Shinyashiki Bowl near the university with my friend, Yuki. We played bowling. This is the first time to visit there. Playing bowling there is cheap. We found good place to play. Today's my score is poor as usual. Yuki's score is little poor for him too. He said 'the lane is bad!!' I thought so too. Our throwing was maybe good. But we could not make good score. And the people who live in this island are mysterious too. Carol thought it is strange. And she found thier secret at last. Mr. Ross was famous pop singer. He got a problem. So, he get away from people. He must kill himself, being famous. And he must live in getting away from people. It was sad story.

I think that the main themes of ‘Toy Story’ are friendship and loyalty. Toys have loyalty for their owner, Andy. Because of Andy is very kind boy. For example, he tries to repair toys when he found broken toys. Andy always cherishes toys. He loves toys. So, Toys love Andy too. That’s why toys have loyalty for Andy. And, toys are united steadily by a firm friendship. In movie, Woody doesn’t have friendship for Buzz at first. Because of Woody is the most favorite toy for Andy. But, since Buzz came, Buzz is became the most favorite toy too. So, Woody has jealousy for him. But, in getting over troubles together, Woody becomes cordial with Buzz gradually. At last they became best friends. Those two are main themes, I think.

Main characters

Heroes: Heroes are Woody and Buzz. They are very good duo. They are like Batman & Robin. And also they are like comedian. Their conversation is very funny. I like it very much. This point is one of notable point in this movie.

Bad boy: Bad boy is Sid. He lives in the next house of Andy’s house. His character is opposite to Andy’s character. He plays in remodeling or hurting toys. So, his toys don’t have loyalty for him. He is just bad boy.

Conclusion

‘Toy story’ is very good movie. CG is very beautiful. And, story is interesting. Character feature is very different and clear each characters. That is good point for me. I can understand Woody’s situation. So, I could in movie easily. I could enjoy this movie.
